PC users can use itunes to convert files to MP3 very simply using Jean's directions. I do it all the time. Also, another very simple program for converting formats is dBpoweramp. It doesn't do anything else, which is the beauty of it because it is very simple and it does it very cleanly. John’s article is very informative, but I have PC’s and it doesn’t have to be that complicated.
